Science-Based Educational Apprenticeships & Programs

At The M.I.S.T.E Foundation, we believe that all people are capable of achieving their goals, but many people simply lack the resources to work towards them. We aim to bring those resources to those who need them the most. Our science and engineering apprenticeships are tailored to fit the unique needs of high-risk learners.

Educational Programs

We're recruiting high-risk individuals from various walks of life, including middle and high school students, high school dropouts, military veterans, former prisoners, the working poor, the unemployed, and distressed individuals.

Our Detroit, Michigan-based programs consist of one to three-year apprenticeships and educational training programs. We're currently working toward incorporating scholarships for programs outside of our own. Qualifications for both our programs and outside scholarships include a high school diploma with a minimum 2.5 GPA or GED. Scholarships are based on our organization's funding, pre-screening evaluation, and program availability.

Our ultimate goal is to create an enriching experience for M.I.S.T.E students. Upon the completion of our program, a student will leave with a sense of inquiry, the ability to work on a team, as well as:

Analytical, Critical & Creative Thinking Skills
